Greyeagle Casino Bonus Terms Explained

A plain guide to the conditions that apply to our bonuses.

Wagering calculator for our bonuses

Illustration only. Our own bonus terms are set out below.

How wagering requirements work

A wagering requirement, sometimes called playthrough, is the amount you must bet before bonus money becomes withdrawable cash. It is written as a multiple, for example 35x. The key detail is what the multiple applies to. Our bonuses use 35x the bonus amount only. You have 21 days to finish wagering.

Wagering counts total bets, not losses. Every spin or hand adds its stake to your progress, whether it wins or loses. A wagering calculator on this page lets you enter any offer and see the total you would need to bet.

Game weighting, bet limits and time limits

Not every game counts the same. Game weighting sets how much of each bet goes toward wagering. Slots count 100%, except about 40 excluded titles and progressive jackpot slots at 0%. Scratch cards, keno and instant win count 100%, crash games 50%. Video poker, RNG table games and live casino count 10%.

While a bonus is active, the maximum bet is $5 per spin or round ($0.50 per line) or 10% of the bonus, whichever is lower. Going over it can void the bonus and any winnings from it. Bonus buy is not available with an active bonus. If wagering is not finished within 21 days, the bonus and linked winnings expire.

Caps, free spins and bonus types

  • Maximum cashout: welcome bonus winnings are capped at 10x the bonus amount, reload winnings at 5x. Anything above the cap is removed.
  • Free spins winnings: these are paid as bonus money, not as cash, with a maximum withdrawal of $100.
  • Sticky bonus: the bonus amount itself can never be withdrawn. It is removed when you cash out, and only winnings above it can leave.
  • Non-sticky bonus: you play with your own deposit first. If you win before touching bonus funds, you can often withdraw and give up the bonus.
  • Cashback: 8% of weekly net losses on real money play without an active bonus, with 3x wagering and up to $500 per week.

Withdrawals and identity checks

Asking for a withdrawal before wagering is finished usually cancels the bonus. Depending on the terms, bonus winnings may go with it. Some offers also lock your deposit until wagering is done. Read the forfeit rules before you request a payout.

We verify identity before your first withdrawal of any amount, a process called KYC (know your customer). Expect to provide photo ID, proof of address, proof of your payment method and a selfie with your ID. Sending documents early avoids delays later. Your account details should match your documents exactly.

A worked example

The numbers here are illustrative only. Our own wagering applies to the bonus only. Suppose you deposit $100 and receive a $100 matched bonus with 35x wagering.

TermBonus onlyDeposit plus bonus
Amount the multiple applies to$100$200
Total wagering at 35x$3,500$7,000
Wagering if you play only table games at 10% weighting$35,000$70,000

Now consider cost. If a game keeps, for example, 4% of stakes on average, wagering $3,500 costs about $140 in expected losses. That is more than the $100 bonus. At $7,000, expected losses are about $280. Add a cashout cap or a short deadline and the offer is worth even less.

Checklist before you accept

  1. Is wagering on the bonus only, or on deposit plus bonus?
  2. Which games count, and at what weighting?
  3. What is the maximum bet while wagering?
  4. How long do you have to finish?
  5. Is there a maximum cashout?
  6. Is the bonus sticky or non-sticky?
  7. What happens if you withdraw early?
  8. Which documents are needed for KYC?

If the terms are hard to find or unclear, you can decline the bonus and play with your own money only.

FAQ

What does 35x wagering mean?

It means you must bet a set amount 35 times before bonus funds can be withdrawn. As an illustrative example, a $50 bonus with 35x wagering on the bonus only needs $1,750 in total bets. If the same multiple applies to a $50 deposit plus the $50 bonus, you would need $3,500. Our wagering applies to the bonus amount only, within 21 days.

Can I withdraw before finishing the wagering requirement?

You can usually request a withdrawal, but it often cancels the bonus and any winnings made with it. Some offers also lock your deposit until wagering is complete. With a non-sticky bonus, you may be able to withdraw winnings from your own money if you have not used bonus funds yet. Read the forfeit rules first.

Why do slots and table games count differently toward wagering?

We set game weighting based on how much each game tends to keep from stakes over time. Games where we keep a smaller share, such as table games, count at 10%. Most slots count in full. The weighting table in the bonus terms shows the exact share for each game type.
