No-Limit Hold’em Cash Games
We spread No-Limit Hold’em cash games with 1/2 blinds running 24/7. Buy-ins start at $100 and go up to $1,000, so both smaller and deeper bankrolls can sit down comfortably. Evenings and weekends fill quickly, while weekday afternoons are usually calmer with shorter wait times.
Our digital waitlist shows estimated seating on screens across the poker area, which helps you plan before you buy chips. Most of the time the action stays at 1/2, but when enough players ask, we open higher No-Limit Hold’em tables, sometimes up to 5/10. When you walk in, the poker desk will tell you exactly which games are live and how long you might wait.
Tournament Schedule
Our tournaments start at $100 buy-ins and come with guaranteed prize pools. We run straightforward freezeouts, re-entry events and deeper structures for players who like more play. Several times a year we schedule series that line up with major poker tours that pass through Western Canada.
Registration starts two hours before each tournament. You can sign up at the poker desk or use the self-service kiosks near the room entrance if you prefer less waiting in line. Late registration windows differ from event to event, so staff will confirm details on the day. We refresh the tournament calendar every month and publish it on PokerAtlas and on the poker section of our site.
| Tournament Type | Buy-In | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly Freezeout | $100-$200 | Every Thursday |
| Deepstack | $200-$300 | Monthly |
| Re-entry Event | $150-$250 | Bi-weekly |
| Major Series | $500+ | Quarterly |
Major series like WPTDeepStacks can bring in fields above 200 entries, which creates solid prize pools. Weekly events are smaller and usually land somewhere between 40 and 80 players. Payouts follow standard room practice, with roughly 15% of the field getting into the money.
Location and Access
Our poker room is located at 3777 Grey Eagle Drive, Calgary, AB T3E 3X8, on the Tsuut’ina First Nation, which has been home to the property since it opened in 2007. Driving from downtown Calgary usually takes around 15 minutes, mostly along the ring road. Parking is free everywhere on property, and there are covered stalls close to the main casino entrance.
Please note that the poker room is scheduled to close as of August 31, 2025. We operate around 20 poker tables in a dedicated non-smoking area on the main gaming floor. For a quick check on live games, upcoming tournaments or current waitlists, call 1-888-233-3939 before you leave home. The poker desk answers calls day and night, just like our cash games.
Player Account Setup
New players need to stop by the poker desk with valid government-issued ID before buying chips. We accept Canadian driver’s licenses, passports and provincial ID cards. In quieter hours the whole setup rarely takes more than five minutes.
Our Eagle Players Club records your poker hours and tournament entries in one place. Points from tracked play can later be used toward dining, hotel nights and select casino offers. At enrollment you receive a physical card and an account number, and from then on you show that card to the dealer whenever you join a table.
To get started, most players go through steps like:
- Present valid ID at the poker desk
- Complete the Eagle Players Club form
- Receive your player card and account number
- Buy chips at the cage or directly at the poker desk
- Ask staff to add your name to the list
- Wait to be called for a seat
- Hand your player card to the dealer when you sit down
Chip Transactions
Chips are available at the main cage or at the poker desk, and purchases are handled in Canadian cash only. We do not use credit or debit cards for gaming transactions. The cage is open around the clock, though at peak periods you may see lines of 10-15 minutes; for smaller amounts, the poker desk is often a quicker option.
For cash-outs, bring your chips to the main cage so staff can count, verify and pay out your funds. When payouts go above $10,000, regulations may require additional documentation and that process can take slightly longer at the window.
| Transaction Type | Location | Payment | Processing Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chip Purchase | Cage or Poker Desk | Cash (CAD) | Immediate |
| Cash-Out | Main Cage | N/A | 2-5 minutes |
| Large Cash-Out | Main Cage | N/A | 5-15 minutes |

Cash Games and Tournaments
Our poker room runs No-Limit Hold’em cash games with 1/2 blinds around the clock, featuring buy-ins from $100 to $1,000. We maintain approximately 20 tables and can spread higher stakes up to 5/10 when demand justifies it. Tournament action starts with $100 buy-ins and includes guaranteed prize pools throughout the week.

Promotions
We offer a regular mix of bad beat jackpots, high-hand rewards and tournament leaderboards. Bad beat jackpots grow from a portion of the rake, with the exact qualifying hand and payout details posted right at the tables. Qualifiers must use both hole cards and typically require quad eights or better getting beaten.
High-hand offers pay out bonuses for the strongest hand during preset blocks of time, often hourly or in longer four-hour segments. To receive any prize, you must be at your seat when the qualifying period closes.
Around holidays and during tour stops, we schedule special event series with larger guarantees and slightly different formats. In past years that has included team events, bounty tournaments and some mixed-game formats. For these special events, registration usually opens well ahead of time and can include an online pre-registration option.
Table Rules
We follow standard poker rules across the room. String bets are not allowed, so players should either state the raise amount clearly or move their chips across the line in a single motion. Once you have spoken your action, that declaration is binding and staff will expect you to follow it through.
Only one player controls each hand. Coaching or giving advice during a live hand is not permitted, whether it comes from someone at the table or from a spectator. Phones and tablets must stay on silent, and players cannot actively use devices while they are in a hand.
Dealers keep the game moving and apply the room rules, while floor supervisors step in whenever there is a dispute. If you need a ruling, simply call “floor” or “supervisor” and we will come over. Decisions apply for that hand, though you can always talk through the situation with management afterward.
Tipping dealers is part of regular poker etiquette here, but it is not mandatory. In cash games, most guests tip around $1-$2 per pot when they win, depending on comfort and pot size.
Gaming Integrity
Our poker room operates under Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis regulations, with the Tsuut’ina Gaming Commission adding another layer of oversight. They review our procedures, equipment and financial controls on a regular basis.
New decks are brought into cash games roughly every two hours, and tournaments use fresh cards at scheduled points. Dealers check each deck before it hits the table, looking for marks or damage. If a player feels something is off, they can request a deck change and we will handle it promptly.
All poker tables are under continuous camera coverage, and footage is stored following regulatory policy. We enforce a zero-tolerance approach to collusion, chip dumping and any type of cheating. When violations are confirmed, the result is a permanent ban from our poker operations.
Amenities
The poker area sits beside the main casino floor, so it is only a short walk to slots, table games and several dining options. Beverage servers visit tables regularly, and active poker players receive complimentary coffee and soft drinks.
Our on-site hotel connects directly to the property. At times, we bundle room stays together with major tournament entries, and reservations can be made through our booking line or website. There are over 100 rooms in the hotel, including suite options.
ATMs are located near the entrance to the poker room and dispense Canadian currency, with standard bank fees applying. We do not add extra casino surcharges. Parking across the property stays free for all guests and does not require validation or a time stamp.
Contact and Hours
